Last updated: 26 October 2026. This policy covers the app "Math Pets: Kids Math Games" on Android (package math.games.learn.brain.mathematics, previously called "Math Games") and on iPhone and iPad (com.handtechnics.mathpets), made for children aged 4–12 and their families.
We do not collect, store or share any personal information. There are no ads, no accounts, no analytics and no tracking in the app. Everything your child does in the app stays on your device.
The following is saved only on the device, in the app's private storage:
None of this is sent to us or to anyone else. A grown-up can reset or remove a child's profile at any time in the grown-ups area. Deleting the app deletes it.
If device backup is switched on (Android backup, or iCloud Backup on iPhone and iPad), the system may include the app's saved progress in the family's own device backup, so it can be restored on a new device. This backup is handled by Google or Apple under the family's own account. We cannot see or access it. You can turn backup off in the device's settings.
A grown-up can choose "Share this report" in the grown-ups area, for example to send it to a teacher. This opens the device's standard share menu, and the report text goes only to the app and person the grown-up picks. Nothing is sent to us.
Optional Math Pets Plus purchases are handled entirely by Google Play on Android and by the App Store on iPhone and iPad. We never see payment details. The app asks the store only whether this account owns Plus, so it can unlock the extras. All purchase screens are behind a parental gate.
Read-aloud uses recorded voice clips included in the app and the text-to-speech voices already on the device. Optional reminders and the weekly progress report are local notifications created on the device, and grown-ups can switch them on and off. A grown-up may occasionally be asked, in the grown-ups area only, to rate the app through the store's standard review dialog. Children are never asked.
Because we collect no personal information, there is nothing for us to share, sell or disclose. The app is designed to meet Google Play's Families policy, the App Store's Kids category guidelines and children's privacy laws such as COPPA (United States), GDPR and the UK Age Appropriate Design Code (Europe and the UK), and PIPEDA (Canada).
If this policy changes, we will update the date above and post the new version at this address.
